Using this site, you can register your commercial pesticide sensitive crop and livestock production areas. The areas you designate will be verified by the Department of Agriculture and then furnished to certified and licensed South Dakota pesticide applicators.

Defining your commercial production areas here will inform applicators about areas sensitive to pesticide and fertilizer drift. South Dakota certified and licensed applicators can download this data in a format compatible with many GPS devices to alert them during application that they are approaching a sensitive production area.

Your production area and crop type will be visible to the public. All other information will only be visible to South Dakota certified and licensed applicators who have registered a service area that includes your production area. We provide this information to them so they can contact you if they need to.

Click the "Create an Account" link to begin using this system. If you already have an account and need to add, change or remove land, enter your email and password and then click "Login". Once you have logged in, you'll be able to draw on the map to create or edit your production area(s).

If you would like help getting started, please review our Producer's Overview Video (Windows Media Format - 16MB)
