Search for a specific spill by entering the ID Number into the "ID No" field, click "Search").
SEARCH FOR MORE THAN ONE SPILL
Any of the search fields, (other than "ID No") will find all spills pertaining to that search. One or more of the search fields may be used in a search.
Example: If you are looking for all chemical spills in Aurora county, simply select Aurora within the "County" field, and Chemical within the "Spill Category", click "Search".
A buffer search shows results for spills within a given area of a mouse click. Select the size of buffer (miles) and select "Set Buffer". Then, click on map to view spills within that buffer.
Use this button to clear the search fields in order to conduct a new search. If the search is not cleared, the next search will result with spills from any/all fields that currently have a value.
DOWNLOAD ALL CASES
Use this button to download all spills reported within South Dakota. To download just the spills from your search, select the "Download Search Results" button below within the results pane.
Zoom To: Use this feature to zoom in to a specific area of the map without using the search feature.
Layers: Toggle the Tanks layers on and off.
To zoom in, either use the "+/-" icons, the scroll wheel on your mouse (while hovering on map), or use the "zoom to" tab.
Click the icon near bottom and left of the map to toggle between Hybrid (aerial imagery/street) or Streets basemap.
